Something awful happened in school the other day.
One of our students drank from her friend's water jug. That's normal. The jug had been left unattended for some time. That's normal. But what wasn't normal was that there were toxic chemicals in it. The girl ended up getting poisoned and had to be rushed to the hospital. She's still there today, and might have to undergo dialysis to get rid of the poison that has spread to her bloodstream. Awful.
Factor into the equation the following:
1. She's a graduating senior.
2. Her prom is tomorrow night.
Awful. I still can barely believe this happened in our school, of all places. Please pray for the girl's healing, and also that the perpetrator might be apprehended and punished accordingly.

totally awful... and i heard that this was the fourth time it happend from january '06... terrible indeed... i pray for her recovery...

I don't know why they (suspects) should do this. If they are simply playing pranks, they don't know the harm that they can cause. And worse, the poisoned one was not the one who was intended to be poisoned. I really pray for her speedy recovery.

it's so sad to hear that one of them's the top of the batch. i thought that someone that smart would have known better. <_<
